Strong Like Shea 💚 | Fundraising Apparel
More than a shirt. More than a hat. This is for Shea. 💚
Shea is living with Leigh syndrome, a rare and progressive mitochondrial disease that affects the body’s ability to produce the energy his cells need to function.
We created Strong Like Shea to raise awareness and help support the ongoing costs of Shea’s care. Proceeds from every purchase will help our family with the daily medications and supplements Shea relies on, as well as expenses associated with the hope of having Shea participate in a clinical trial specifically targeting his MT-ATP6 m.8993T>C variant.
For our family, this clinical trial represents something incredibly important: hope for a treatment designed around the genetic change causing Shea’s disease.
When you purchase or wear Strong Like Shea, you aren’t just supporting our family—you’re helping us fight for **more time, more research, and more treatment options.
